Hey, I'm Adam

From Grave Digger to Tech Executive: My Journey

I grew up in a working-class family in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. As a kid, I had no clear career ambitions but loved playing sports and competing. I attended a Plymouth State University with no real goals and earned a business degree. When the 2008 market crash hit, job prospects were slim, so I returned to my college summer job as a grave digger.

I got married, and yes, my wife married a grave digger—go figure! With a child on the way, I knew I had to step up. I applied everywhere and landed a role at a tech startup. I had three months to prove I could learn the ropes. I traveled across the USA meeting customers and eventually became a product manager—likely because I was a cost-effective hire. I stuck with it, earned my MBA at Liberty University, and grew into a leadership role, helping shape the company. We eventually sold that startup, and I carried those lessons to other ventures.

Not every startup I’ve joined has succeeded, but the failures taught me just as much as the wins. Today, I’m part of an incredible team with limitless potential. I had no choice but to succeed, and now I want to share what makes good startups thrive and why others fall short.
